How Our French Bulldog Puppy Adoption Works

At The French Bulldog, adopting your new French Bulldog puppy is easy and supported every step of the way. Browse our available puppies and feel free to contact your personal French Bulldog Puppy Concierge at any time with questions or for help choosing the right pup.

From your first inquiry through pickup and beyond, your Puppy Concierge is here to make the process smooth and joyful for both you and your new best friend.

Step 1: Browse Available French Bulldog Puppies

All of our puppies are bred from health-tested parents with excellent temperaments. You can view available puppies on our Available Puppies Page— each listing includes:
    •    Photos and videos
    •    Personality descriptions
    •    Health testing details
    •    AKC registration status (limited)

We update the page regularly, so check back often if you’re waiting for a specific color or gender.

Step 2: Submit Your Puppy Application

To ensure our puppies go to loving, responsible homes, we require a short application. Tell us about:
    •    Your experience with dogs or Frenchies
    •    Your lifestyle and home setup
    •    What you’re looking for in a puppy

We’ll review your application and usually respond within 48 hours…typically much sooner.

Step 3: Reserve Your Puppy

Once approved, you may place a deposit to reserve your puppy. The reservation deposit is non-refundable but goes toward the total purchase price.

You’ll receive:
    •    Photo/video updates
    •    A personalized puppy timeline
    •    Access to our private Facebook group for new owners

Step 4: Preparing for Puppy Pickup

We’ll guide you through everything you need to get ready for your new arrival, including providing access to our exclusive Prep for Your Frenchie course. This course covers essential topics like:
    •    Puppy supply checklist
    •    Potty and crate training tips
    •    Nutrition and vaccine information
    •    Building a strong, loving bond from day one

By completing the Prep for Your Frenchie course before your puppy arrives, you’ll feel confident and prepared to welcome your new Frenchie into your home.

We also include a complimentary puppy insurance trial to help cover any unexpected vet visits during those early weeks.

Step 5: Pickup or Delivery

You may choose one of the following options:
    •    Free pickup near the breeder’s location
    •    Meet halfway (if pre-approved) for a $300 travel fee (up to 40 miles)
    •    Personal flight nanny ($850–$1200, hand-delivered to your nearest airport)
    •    Private ground transport, starting at $400 (dependent on distance and location)

Step 6: Ongoing Support After Adoption

We believe French Bulldog ownership is a long-term relationship — with your dog and with us.

After adoption, you’ll receive:
    •    Lifetime access to the health and nutrition library
    •    Guidance on optional spay/neuter timing
    •    Ongoing access to Frenchie care resources
